Subdeacon
 
The office of Subdeacon is utilized in our liturgy. The subdeacon will assist the priest at the altar in the celebration of the liturgy. It is a highly specialized service in the ministry of the mass and takes prayerful discernment. Each week a Subdeacon is scheduled to assist at the altar with the priest. If you are interested in serving the Lord as a Subdeacon or wish to know more, please contact the Church office by email here.


Lay Eucharistic Minister/ Lay Eucharistic Visitor

The office of Lay Eucharistic Minister  is a layperson authorized by a Bishop in the Anglican Communion to assist in the distribution of communion during the worship liturgy and after the worship liturgy to those home bound. In the Diocese of Fort Worth, training is offered for this position in the Church. If you are interested in serving as a Lay Eucharistic Minister or wish to know more, please contact the Church office by email here. 

Lay Reader


T
he Lay Reader (sometimes simply titled a Reader) is a layperson authorized by a Bishop in the Anglican Communion to read Scripture during the worship liturgy. In the Diocese of Fort Worth, training is offered for this position in the Church. Each week our team of readers prepares physically and spiritually for their duties in the reading of the Word of the Lord. Acolyte


An acolyte is one who performs ceremonial duties such as lighting 
altar candles, ringing the bells, etc., during the worship liturgy. Our Church has the privilege of having an Acolyte Master on staff. Training is done regularly in group and on an individual basis as is needed. If you are interested in serving as an Acolyte or wish to know more, please contact the Church office by email here.


Altar Guild

The Altar Guild prepares the church for all worship services, and maintains the vestments, altar wares, and other "holy hardware". Each week one of our teams is responsible for setting up our Sunday service. If you are interested in serving on the Altar Guild or wish to know more, please contact Nancy Brackett by email here.


Flower Guild     

The flower guild each week, creates a beautiful floral arrangement for our Altar.  All are welcome to give altar flowers in thanksgiving for special life events (anniversary, birthday, birth, etc.) or in memory of loved ones.If you wish to serve on the Flower Guild or would like to make a flower donation, please contact Jane Molpus by email here
